Jordon Named Third Team All-American

NJCAA DIII VOLLEYBALL ALL-AMERICANS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Richland volleyball's Kensington Jordon was named a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Third Team All-American.

A sophomore outside hitter from Temple, Texas, Jordon was a First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference choice. She banged a team-best 286 kills, and had 11 blocks and 13 aces, while adding 46 digs. Jordon pounded a career-high 26 kills, and hit .328 in a five-set win over Dallas College Brookhaven. She had three blocks in a sweep of Arlington Baptist University. She had two aces in four matches.

Jordon had double-digit kills in 13 matches, including a streak of seven in a row at the tail end of the season. She helped Richland climb to No. 9 in the national rankings and a 17-15 overall record, while finishing second in the DAC at 7-3.
