Jordon, Glass Named First Team All-DAC, Richland Earns Four Awards

DALLAS – Dallas College Richland volleyball's Kensington Jordon and Jersey Glass received First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference honors.

Thunderducks teammates Kara Washington and Parker Kimball earned Second Team All-DAC awards.

A sophomore outside hitter from Temple, Texas, Jordon led the team in kills (286) and kills per set (2.89), while adding 13 aces, 11 blocks and 46 digs. She had a career-high 26 kills in a five-set win over Dallas College Brookhaven. That came during a stretch in which Jordon had double-digit kills in seven straight matches. She had 17 kills in a pair of matches – a four-set win over North Lake to end the regular season and a five-set match with Temple College.

A sophomore middle blocker from Delta Junction, Alaska, Glass finished the season with 265 kills, 151 digs, 37 blocks and 16 aces. She had a career-high 17 kills, and hit .471 in a five-set match against Jefferson College. It was the fourth of five straight matches Glass banged double-digit kills. She had four blocks in two matches.

A sophomore defensive specialist/outside hitter from Henderson, Texas, Washington led the Thunderducks in digs with 366, and had 21 aces and 68 kills. She had a career-best 32 digs in the match with Jefferson. Washington had 23 digs in two other matches. She had a career-high 15 kills in the four-set win over North Lake at the end of the regular season.

A freshman setter from Hutto, Texas, Kimball led Richland with 463 assists and 44 aces, and had 179 digs. She had a season-high 26 assists in the Jefferson College match, while operating in the 6-2 or two-setter offense. Kimball had 25 assists in the four-set win at North Lake, and had a season-best 15 digs in a four-set match with Dallas College Eastfield. She had a season-high four aces in a sweep of Dallas Christian College.
