Richland Rolls by Mountain View

DALLAS – Dallas College Richland's volleyball team beat Dallas College Mountain View, 25-11, 25-9, 25-15, Thursday.

Richland (12-13, 2-2 Dallas Athletic Conference) hit a season-best .315, putting away 34 kills, while committing a season-low six attack errors in 89 swings. The Thunderducks hit .483 in the first set, pounding 15 kills to offset just one error. They hit .300 in the second set.

Richland's Kensington Jordon had 11 kills, and hit .360. Audrey Burleson had seven kills, a block and a .333 attack percentage. Parker Kimball finished with six kills, 12 assists, an ace and a .333 hitting percentage. Mia Morrow had six kills, three blocks and a .385 attack rate. Isabella Foutz had 20 assists and a block. Myra Memon had 10 digs and two aces.

Mountain View's Kendricia Johnson had five kills and three aces. Sydnei Pena had four kills and an ace. Ceciliana Pena had 17 digs. Jade McCafferty had nine digs and eight assists. Skylar Daniels had two aces.

Richland plays at Dallas College North Lake (13-11, 3-1) at 6 p.m. Monday to finish the first round of conference matches.
