Richland Volleyball Releases Schedule

DALLAS – Dallas College Richland's volleyball team will open the season Aug. 27 against Clarendon College and Dallas Christian College in Thunderduck Gym.

The Thunderducks host Temple College Aug. 29 before playing their next eight matches on the road, beginning with a Sept. 3 date at Arlington Baptist University. The Thunderducks will play at North Central Texas College Sept. 5 before meeting host Weatherford College and Amarillo College Sept. 6. Richland plays at Temple and at Southwestern Adventist University Sept. 12-13, respectively before concluding the eight-match road trip at Southwestern Christian College Sept. 16.

Richland returns home Sept. 18 to host Henderson State University Junior Varsity before beginning Dallas Athletic Conference play Sept. 23 at Dallas College Cedar Valley. The Thunderducks play at National Junior College Athletic Association Division III national champion Dallas College Eastfield Sept. 25 in the first DAC home match.

The first round of league play will conclude at Dallas College North Lake Oct. 7. Richland begins the second half of DAC action at home against Cedar Valley three days later. Following road league matches at Dallas College Brookhaven (Oct. 17) and at Dallas College Mountain View (Oct. 21), the Thunderducks host North Lake to conclude the regular season.

The NJCAA Division III South District Tournament runs Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at the site of the DAC regular season champion.
