Dallas College Richland volleyball player Bailee Alexander was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III.

Alexander, a sophomore outside hitter/middle blocker from Little Elm, Texas, had 455 kills, 51 blocks, 179 digs and 27 aces this season. She ranked fifth in the nation in kills.

Alexander recorded a season-best 21 kills in a three-set win at Dallas College North Lake on Sept. 22. She also had 20 kills in a four-set win at Dallas College Cedar Valley on Oct. 6. Alexander had double-digit kills in 26 matches.

Richland went 10-28 overall, 5-5 in the Dallas Athletic Conference, advancing to the NJCAA DIII Southwest District semifinals.
