Elliott Named National Goalkeeper of Week

DALLAS – Dallas College Richland's Paige Elliott was named the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.

A freshman from Rowlett, Texas, Elliott had two shutouts last week, including a 0-0 tie with No. 2 Dallas College Brookhaven. She made five saves in that game. Elliott also had two saves in the shutout victory over Dallas College Eastfield.

Elliott finished the week with 180 minutes of shutout soccer, improving to 2-0-1.

Richland, which is ranked No. 3 in the country, will host Dallas College Mountain View 6 p.m. Friday.
