Bio

In the summer of 2022, Alejandro Radilla joined the Dallas College Richland men's soccer team as an assistant coach.

Prior to Richland, Radilla worked with youth soccer in Austin, Texas, and El Paso, Texas. He worked for Barcelona Academy in Austin, where he assisted in the implementation of the Barcelona methodology of football to the youth in the Austin area. He also worked with the FC Dallas affiliate in El Paso, where he assisted in training and transferring players to the FC Dallas Academy in Frisco, Texas.

Radilla was a standout collegiate player at Grand Canyon University, an NCAA Division I program in Phoenix, Arizona, before becoming a coach. Radilla was a four-year letterman at GCU under legendary coach Schellas Hyndman. Radilla was a member of the prestigious FC Dallas Academy program before starting his college career at GCU.

During Radilla’s time at FC Dallas, he was rostered to play in FC Dallas Reserve games, and was called up to the U.S. National Team U17 camp. Radilla has been coached by some of the best in the game, including Luchi Gonzalez (U.S. National team staff), Jose Maria Bazan (current Orlando City first team staff), Oscar Pareja (current Orlando City head coach), Chris Hayden (FC Dallas staff) and Francisco Molina (former FCD staff).

Radilla is originally from El Paso. He attended Frisco's Lone Star High School. His younger brother, Victor Radilla, was a member of the Richland Thunderducks in 2018 and 2019, later transferring to the University of Texas-Permian Basin. Alejandro earned his Bachelor of science degree in psychology with an emphasis in performance and sports psychology at Grand Canyon.
