Min, Alvarez Earn United Soccer Coaches All-America Honors

UNITED SOCCER COACHES ALL-AMERICANS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dallas College Richland men's soccer player Joseph Min was named a First Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches.

A sophomore forward from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Min scored 18 goals, including six game winners, and had nine assists for 45 points in leading the Thunderducks to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III national championship game for a second straight year. He had two hat tricks this season, and finished with five multi-goal games. Min scored in four straight games during the middle of the season. His 18 goals were tied for seventh in the nation, and his 45 points were tied for 10th.

Min was an NJCAA Division III First Team All-American after collecting Dallas Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player and First Team All-DAC honors.

Richland's Enrique Alvarez earned USC Second Team All-America recognition.

A sophomore midfielder from Dripping Springs, Texas, Alvarez had seven goals and nine assists for 23 points. He had a goal and at least one assist in five games. He recorded two assists in two games. Alvarez scored in three straight games in the postseason.

Alvarez was an NJCAA Division III Second Team All-America selection after being voted to the First Team All-DAC.

Min and Alvarez joined sophomore defender Valerio Del Mastro on the USC All-East Region Team. Del Mastro had five goals, including two game winners, and an assist for 11 points. He was on the field for eight of the nine Thunderducks' shutouts.
