Bio
Jimmy Littleton was named an assistant men’s basketball coach at Dallas College Richland in October 2024.
Littleton was an assistant coach at Texas Wesleyan University in 2023-24. He coached high school basketball for 42 years, including 33 as a head coach. Littleton racked up 564 career wins as a head coach.
Littleton played for two years at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. He was a team captain in both his junior and senior seasons. Prior to that, he played two years at Temple College. He helped lead the Leopards to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Regional Tournament, where they fell to San Jacinto College, 70-69, in the championship game. Littleton was a point guard and team captain at Temple.
Littleton grew up and played high school basketball at Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio, Texas.
Littleton and his wife, Karey, have four sons and seven grandchildren. They attend Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
