Men's Basketball Ranked No. 11 in NJCAA Preseason Poll
DALLAS – Dallas College Richland men's basketball team will open the season ranked No. 11 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III preseason poll.
Richland, which went 15-11 overall, 6-4 in the Dallas Athletic Conference last season, received 19 points in the preseason rankings. The Thunderducks sit three points ahead of DAC brethren Dallas College Eastfield, who checks in at No. 12. Last year's DAC champion Dallas College North Lake is No. 7 with 56 points.
Brookdale Community College is the preseason No. 1-ranked team after collecting seven first place votes and 105 points. Sandhills Community College is No. 2 with 98 points, and Rochester Community & Technical College No. 3 with 91.
The Thunderducks will open the regular season Nov. 3 at Murray State College.
