Dallas College Richland Secures No. 2 Seed
NJCAA DIII South Central District Tournament Central
The National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District Men's Basketball Tournament begins for Dallas College Richland Thursday.
The semifinals and championship will be held at Dallas College North Lake.
The Thunderducks, led by head coach Jon Havens, will tip off in the tournament 8 p.m. Friday in the semifinals against the highest remaining seed from Tuesday's quarterfinals at Dallas College Eastfield.
The championship game will be played 5 p.m. Saturday. On the line is an automatic bid to the NJCAA DIII National Tournament for the district champion.
Tickets are $10 for a tournament pass for all games, $5 for adult single session of two games and $3 for students ages 6-18. Children under 6 are free. Dallas College students and employees with a current ID (must present at the gate) are free. Game programs are $2.
