Thunderducks Win Fourth Straight

LANCASTER, Texas -- Dallas College Richland's men's basketball team won its fourth straight game, beating host Dallas College Cedar Valley, 81-79, Wednesday.

The Thunderducks outscored Cedar Valley 50-33 in the second half to pull away with the road victory in the closing seconds of the game. Ed Trahan drained a three-pointer from the left wing with eight senonds to go and that was the all the Thunderducks needed to hold on for the tough win.

Trahan led all scorers with 28 points, and had 12 rebounds. Desmond Combs had 14 points, 10 boards and three steals. Anthony Lockett had 16 points, six rebounds, three steals, three assists and a block. Taven Washington scored 13 points.

The Thunderducks travel to Dallas College North Lake on Saturday for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
