Farr Chosen DAC Pitcher of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Richland's Bron Farr has been chosen as the Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

A freshman right hander from San Antonio, Farr went the distance in an 8-2 win over Dallas College Mountain View last week as the No. 5 Thunderducks swept a three-game series. Farr allowed five hits, two runs and two walks, and struck out four in the complete game victory.

It was the first nine-inning complete game of the season for Farr, and the DAC-leading third of the year for the Thunderducks' third game series starter. He improved to 6-2 this season with a 2.20 earned run average in 11 appearances, while making his fifth start.

Richland (29-11, 15-3 DAC) moved within a game of league-leading Dallas College Eastfield for first place in the league. The Thunderducks will host Dallas College Brookhaven (19-20, 10-8) at noon Wednesday to begin a three-game series.
