Richland Earns 13 All-Academic Honors

NJCAA ALL-ACADEMIC

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Richland's student-athletes earned 13 National Junior College Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

To be eligible for NJCAA All-Academic, a student-athlete must record a grade point average of 3.6 or higher for the academic year. Student-athletes who complete their degree requirements in the fall semester are exempt from taking courses in the spring. First Team All-Academic honorees post 4.0 GPAs. Student-athletes with GPAs of 3.8 and 3.99 earn Second Team honors. Student-athletes with GPAs of 3.6 to 3.79 are named Third Team All-Academic.

Volleyball's Jersey Glass and men's soccer's Mikkel Jensen and Tommaso Truant were First Team All-Academic honorees.

Women's soccer's Kaitlyn Werleman, men's soccer's Enrique Alvarez and Aubry Eason and baseball's Nick Yates earned Second Team All-Academic honors.

Women's soccer's Hannah Harris and Amelia Roach, men's soccer's Mika Bardia and Felipe Escorcia, men's basketball's Taven Washington and baseball's Robby Lopez received Third Team All-Academic distinction.
