Men's Basketball Goes to 2-0 on 22-23 Season

Dallas College Richland men's basketball team beat Texas Wesleyan University's Junior Varsity, 101-77, Thursday to improve to 2-0 this season.

Ed Trahan's 20 points and Devin Teague's 17 catapulted the Thuderducks, who shot 59.7 percent from the field. Trahan also had 10 rebounds and four assists and shot 10 of 12 from the floor. Jaylen Salsman had 11 points, three steals, and five out 21 team assists on the Thunderducks' 40 field goals. Justin Crawford scored 10 points.

The Thunderducks controlled the paint grabbing 43 rebounds including 13 on the offensive glass, and never trailed.

Richland will travel to Eastern Oklahoma State College for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff Monday.
